Last self portrait in a series inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. With this body of work I was fascinated with the incorporation of UV light and pigments. I began making my own UV oil pigments during the creation of this series. The incorporation of these pigments is directed towards the intent of using light as a medium; where the use of a UV light can reveal a further level within the painting.
